Fancy a country style family day out? Then join us for ‘May Day Fayre’ Sunday 14th May in The Paddock’s Holiday Village, Midleton, from 12 to 5pm. May Fayre will be jam-packed with all kinds of fun activities, and some very tasty food too! The event is in aid of the Time for Tilara Trust, which is raising funds for little 6-year-old Tilara’s medical treatment.
There will old-style games a plenty! Tug of war, ball in the hole and even welly throwing to boot! Or if you fancy a less energetic day, you can muse over the craft stalls and vintage displays. Once everyone has worked up an appetite there will be tempting food stalls like Mimi’s Crepes, Annie’s Roasts, Clonakilty ice-cream and Dinky Doughnuts. Or you can always bring your own picnic and be entertained while you eat by the Midleton Concert Band, or one of the other local music acts who will be performing. And remember to watch out for the dancing talent too.
May Day Fayre promises to be a fabulous fun filled day for all the family. Entry is just €5 on the day, and will go directly to Tilara’s Trust.
Tilara is a mischievous little 6-year-old girl, from Midleton, who has severe Cerebral Palsy. Tilara’s condition means she experiences ongoing chronic pain, day and night.
Despite the challenges she deals with daily, Tilara is a very happy little girl who loves her school and her friends in St. John the Baptists Primary School, Midleton.
Tilara has luckily been accepted by Dr. T.S. Park to undergo life changing surgery in the USA which will relieve her chronic pain and help her to walk. €140k must be raised by the Autumn to make this happen. A tough task, however it is one her family and supporters are determined to achieve with the help of the people of Cork. So please come and enjoy a wonderful day and help Tilara too.
